A 1000mm x 500mm canvas with plaster of paris textures, gesso high build to form some of the more fluid ridges and crackle glaze.
All framed in a black 50mm heavy matt black ash tray frame
Then painted in a blend of mid greys / light grey / beiges / turquoise / green.
The textures then have an array of deep warm browns / blacks / ochre details added to metallic highlights in green / orange / blue to create depth and add finesse.
Finally a series of white oil pastel “moments” add an element of movement along with white aerosol floated onto water.
